Somerville Driveway Conversion
This project took a portion of the driveway and converted it into a native plant and vegetable garden. Constrained by the portions of the driveway that is shared with the neighbor as well as a shared garage which couldn’t be demolished, the garden worked with the small space given to create a lush haven for people and pollinators. What was once just a patch of concrete is now filled with bees, hummingbirds, and butterflies and offers a green respite in the middle of the city.
